The Modern Asian Parent began as a community for Asian families to reflect, heal and redefine what parenting looks across cultures looks like today. It started with a simple idea: that our cultural values — respect, resilience, family — can coexist with modern ideas of emotional awareness, individuality, and growth.
Now, under our new name — The Modern Approach to Parenting — that same belief continues to guide everything we do. We’ve widened our lens to include all families navigating today’s high-pressure, “never enough” world, while keeping this page as a home of our roots: where culture meets connection, and tradition evolves with intention.
